6 Years Old

My Sweet Little James Robert turned 6 this week. He is such a special addition to our family, I cannot believe he has been with us for 6 years now. He has a heart of kindness and love, He is so funny and he takes great care in being a big brother. He loves to make people laugh and he think that being an astronaut when he grows up will be the coolest job ever.

His start to this world was scary, to say the least, but since then he has been a shining light in our house. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for this little man. I sure am thankful that he gave Adam and I the responsibility for caring for him, discipling him and growing him to be a man after God's own heart while here on this earth. We are so thankful that God took care of James during his first few hours of life, we are so thankful for a great doctor who loves the Lord and turned to Him in prayer during his time taking care of our boy and who turned to Him during his talks with us, we were comforted by his words even in one of the scariest days of our lives. You would never know it today that he had a rough start in the beginning, and we are so thankful for that.

Lord thank you so much for the blessing of James Robert and his unique personality he brings to our family. Thank you for caring for him when he was born and allowing him to come home with us. We feel so blessed.
