My sweet little man is 1 month old today. It has been a month of joy and happiness, as well as a month of pain and recovery. Daniel has been absolutely perfect. He takes in all the sights of this new world around him, He eats well and sleeps well and he has been such a joy to our family. He was 9 pounds 11 ounces at his first, 1 month, checkup. He is above and beyond out biggest baby. Makes me feel a little like we missed out on infant hood. But, it is all ok when I look at that precious little face. I cannot wait to watch another little boy grow, learn and become his own person.

Adam has fully recovered from his appendectomy. It took a little longer than he thought it would. But he is back to life as usual; working hard, playing hard and getting stuff done in the yard.
The garden is cleared and ready for cold frames to be built so we can plant and harvest some winder food. A covered "bike parking" area has been started so the kids don't have to leave their outside toys and bikes in the weather. It has been a busy month, but one we will always remember.

It is amazing how quickly they change and grow. He sounds like a wonderful addition to your already wonderful family and I can't wait to meet him!
