Imagination

I have made it a part of my goal as a mother to encourage imagination in my children. They are not allowed to watch much television, they don't' play on the computer much and we have tried to surround there environment with toys that provoke imagination (Lego's, blocks, crafts etc).

A few days ago while outside in the yard Addison asked for paper and glue, I wasn't sure what it was that he was going to make so I sat an watched the creation unfold and helped when asked. He is such a smart kid I was curious to see what he was making. James even got in on the action. Though his "leaf airplane" didn't turn out as planned and was quickly destroyed, he was very proud of himself. It is so fun to watch there little minds in action.

His creation. A leaf Chefs Hat. He then proceeded to the sand box to make up some tasty treats with his chefs hat on. What a cute little (ok he's getting bigger, I know, but I can't resist) boy I have.

Thank you Lord for my little blessing.
