Homeschooling is going FABULOUSLY. We are loving every minute of it. It has been great to watch my boys learn from me. It has been great to see them grow in the love of Christ. It has been a such a blessing to have them home. Sure it can get tiring, and even stressful at times, but the blessings far out way the stresses.
Preschool is pretty fun, we sing and dance and color and paint. We laugh and we learn. Kindergarten next year will be a little different I imagine, we have to get down to business with Addison. He is such a smart kid though, it will be a piece of cake for him. I will be doing more learning that he will be.
James is loving it, he is learning to have more patience(which he had NONE of before) and to sit still for more then 5 minutes...it has been a great experience. God has truly blessed me.

Potty Training
James is still not quite potty trained, although we are making some progress. We found an incentive. We dusted off Adam's old PlayStation 2 and every time he goes potty in the toilet he gets to play for 5 minutes. He is one of those kids that needs instant rewards or it isn't worth it. So, even with my hate of video games, it is working and he has only gone #2 in his diaper once in 4 days. but if anyone else has some suggestions for our stubborn, carefree boy who doesn't mind being dirty all day long...I'll try it =)
Isabelle
Oh that sweet girl. She is getting way too big, way too fast. She is very outspoken and demanding, but also sweet and cuddly when it benefits her. She adores her brothers. If she had it her way they would pay her attention 24 hours a day. She thinks they are the funniest thing that ever walked this earth. She has been such a blessing to our family. She crawls everywhere, she has learned how to open cupboards, she trys to get up the stairs, she hates diaper changes and being dressed, she is a great sleeper, a great eater (finally) and a Mama's girl, although I'm quite certain she will grow out of that soon.
Adam
Adam busted his ankle on Monday. He was walking down the stairs into the playroom and a toy was left out that the bottom of the stairs. He rolled his ankle completely and it was hurting pretty good so he went to the doc on Tuesday to see what was going on. He has a badly sprained ankle and a torn ligament in his foot. He has to wear an "air cast" (boot) on his foot for 3 weeks and then they will have another look at it. It's a bummer, especially since he has plans to go elk hunting with my Dad in a week. He will still be able to go, the dr said to be sure to lace up his boots good and tight. But he may be in some pain. Thankfully Elk hunting doesn't involve TOO much walking, and they pulled a tag that is supposedly a guaranteed Elk. He is really excited about his trip, and I am glad that he gets the opportunity, he has missed hunting since we left Texas, there is just not much hunting to do around here.

Isabelle Grace is too cute and her and Olivia sound so much alike, I bet they will have fun together in about a month.

Hmmmm... elk. Never had it, but I've heard it gives you TONS of meat. Very cool. I hope Adam is in much less pain by his trip.

It is awesome that James can write his name, but you should be teaching him the truth and spending time on names that matter, that count. Everyone else in the world, including Borneo, knows that his name is JIM BOB. Please raise him up correctly now, or we will have much re-teaching to do later.
The sign of a true hunter is to hunt regardless of health or injury. Hope he nails a monster.
