The Land of Babies

For Isabelle's 4th Birthday (and to help celebrate my mother in law's, and Adam's grandmothers birthday who have birthdays on either side of Isabelle's) we went to Babyland General.
This magnificent place can only be found in Cleveland Georgia, it is every little girls dream world. Not only that, but my boys had almost as good of a time. They enjoyed many of the fun little "baby" setups and REALLY enjoyed watching their sister be so happy.
This is the home of the Cabbage Patch Doll. The dolls are "born" right there at the the hospital and kids get to help name them each and every day. It is a wonderful land of imagination and girl time fun for the whole family.
The last time we went, it was at their old facility and Isabelle was just a few months old. This time, she really appreciated everything, and soaked it all in, and picked out her very own Cabbage Patch Doll that she adopted and named "Girlo Grace." We had so much fun

We tried to recreate some scenes from Isabelle's first trip to Babyland General, it was fun. As you can see from the photos things are a little bit different now, than they used to be. Daniel even got to come right out of a cabbage in the patch. Anyone who knows my husband, probably knows that this was his idea.
Then Isabelle got to pick out her baby, she had a very hard time deciding. She narrowed it down to Girl, Green eyes with hair. So the search was on for just the right baby girl to adopt.

 Then we got to watch another little baby be born from the patch. It is a funny and neat experience, they treat everything like it is really happening and the kids just eat it up. Mother Cabbage has to get to a full 10 leafs before baby can be born, sometimes she has to have a C-section, that is Cabbage-Section. After the baby is born, they pick 2 kids to name the baby, one picks the first name, one picks the middle. This time, my Addison got to pick this babies first name. He picked Lee, after himself, and another child picked Nathan. So the new boy born at the patch was Lee Nathan.

 We all had a very fun time. Isabelle loved her birthday. We went to a restaurant after to celebrate not only Isabelle's birthday but her grandmothers and her great-grandmothers. A fun time was had by all, young and young at heart, boy and girl.

As soon as we entered the little mommy in her came out.

This ones name was Izzy Bell

 If you have never been to Babyland General in Cleveland Georgia, and you live in Georgia, I highly recommend the trip. It was so much fun, and free to enter, although you may not leave empty handed, just as a warning. If you will be visiting the Atlanta area, you should try to take the time to make it up and see this great place.
