So their is a sweet little Robin that is making it's home on our front porch, what a great experience it is for me to teach. It's great things that I can find to teach my children about the wonderful Creations of God's amazing world.
There are three little eggs with tiny little birdies growing inside of them. The kids love to listen to the bird "yell" at us whenever we walk out our front door to go to the car. Usually, not very happy we have invaded it's space. We cannot wait to start hearing that those lit
tle baby chirps coming from inside that nest.
We also have a mockingbird building her nest inside our bush at our front porch, we have not been able to get pictures as the nest is sort of "hidden" in our bush, but we do see the momma leaving her nest when we walk by. It feels great the birds can call our home a sanctuary for their babies as we have called it a sanctuary for our babies.

Dawn :0)
Great! One of our favorite things to do with our annual barn swallow nests/eggs/babies is this:
Each guess how many days until the eggs hatch.
Then circle on the calendar or on a paper how many days the eggs are there.
Then, guess how many days until the babies fly.
etc.
Soooo much fun!
Are you going to make a poop catcher? hee hee!
love y'all!!
