How are the eggs?

Well, we have eaten our new eggs a couple times now. I was up on my toes wondering how the family would react to farm fresh eggs. We have had farm fresh eggs a few times before from our local, family owned, garden center that also has chickens and sells them by the dozen in their store. But it was a small amount and it wasn't OUR girls eggs.

Everyone thought they were great. They had a much more eggy taste, they actually tasted like egg, not watered down egg, or diluted egg, but full on egg flavors. It was delicious! We will never be able to go back!

We also got our very first double yolker in an egg that James' hen, Chicken, laid. We all hovered around the bowl as it cracked and had jumping up and down and cheering going on! What a great site to see. 2 yolks coming out of 1 egg. SO COOL!

So, now we have daily eggs, (only 2 daily right now, but daily none the less) and we are loving it!

Adam ended up making me an omelet with this egg, plus 2 others....and it was SOOO good!
