Thankfully the Lord also told Noah that he would never again flood the whole earth again, after he did send the Great Flood. But he did not saying anything about Georgia. We are in a severe Flood warning at this moment. Roads closing, mud slides. Our entire county and the 2 counties surrounding us have closed schools for the day due to weather conditions. Adam's school was not in one of those three counties, but they have now realized that they are not out of flood advisory and have changed their mind since school started, all the kids at Adam's school are on their way home at the moment.
I'm asking for prayers for those who have flooding along their paths home, as Adam does. Several roads along his route have been closed due to flooding and we are just praying that he is able to make it home safe before the 2nd round of severe thunderstorms start later today.
this road is not far from our house, completely under water. and yes it is a road, as you can see by the road sign...curves ahead.
This road that is covered in water is just before the road I just pictured. Again very close to us, maybe 10 miles.
This gas station is one we drive by all the time one our way to town. It's 8 or 9 minutes from our home.
Thankfully our neighborhood has been draining quite well. But this is the street directly outside our home. I know lots of others who have it alot worse and we are praying for them today. Please keep Georgia in your prayers today. Especially those that have had to venture out in these conditions. It is suppose to get worse before it gets better so we are praying for everyone's safety today.
