Please Pray with your families tonight for the Northern part of Georgia. We are again under a severe Flood Warning. The county that my family and I live in is suppose to get 8 inches of rain through the night. With all the flooding that happened last week, it is going to flood faster this time then last time, the ground is still saturated from last weeks disasterous flood. People are still out of their homes, the kids were out of public school all week in my county and their is talk of staying closed Monday as well.
The families in this area need your prayers, the volunteers who have been out all week and plan to be out over the weekend to help these vicitms need your prayers. We are having downpours, thunder and lightening as I write this, it doesn't look like their are any chances of it stopping tonight.
Thankfully my family is in an area that drains well, out house has a good roof that has not been leaking and the waters have stayed out of the basement. We feel very blessed to be in a safe place right now, but we love our community and want to see each of them stay safe through the night as well.
Lord, please be with North Georgia tonight, and any other areas effected by this heavy rainfall. Please keep each of your children safe tonight, please get all your people to higher grounds before the flooding is in their homes. We ask you to bring peace to your people and protect them through this storm. In Jesus name we pray this, Amen.
